Of course, most construction projects present a number of challenges, but sometimes there's just one more to contend with: getting paid at the end of the project! Money is everything, but there are many ways to increase your chances of getting paid quickly. Often, all it takes is a good working structure and a good basic contract. In more serious cases, it's necessary to send a formal notice or even hire a debt collection firm, or go to small claims court. Finally, there are times when we need to consult a lawyer to help us through the process. You may already be asking yourself the following questions: What should a good contract contain? What is a collection agency and how do they work? What should a demand letter contain? How does small claims court work? How do I negotiate my lawyer's fee? This course is designed to answer these questions (and more) and provide your company with the right tools for debt protection and collection.

Please note that you will have 90 days after March 31th to register your hours on the RBQ website.
