Contents

Training is based on the various payroll application cycles. The first, weekly cycle focuses on payroll calculation: gross pay, vacations and vacations, security allowance, taxable benefits, government deductions, deductions specific to the construction sector, government contributions, contributions specific to the construction sector, net pay and hourly payroll costing.

The second cycle, monthly or periodic, is mainly focused on managing rebates: provincial, federal, CNESST, CCQ, RBQ or other organizations. The concept of "period" will be clearly defined to facilitate management of this stage.

The third cycle is less regular and more ad hoc. It will deal with non-cyclical but mandatory obligations: termination of employment, work-related accidents, payroll deductions, and so on. Finally, we come full circle with the annual cycle: issuing Relevé 1s and T4s, and CNESST (labour standards and CNESST).
